Cosy place located on the 2nd floor and felt a bit like a speakeasy. Went on a Thursday evening and it was fairly empty. The crispy kurobuta pork was really good and came with pickled apple. The Kani miso kourayaki was really rich and I loved it. But the Bara chirashi don was disappointing. It was covered in a lot of sauce except for the uni which was on top and I couldn't really taste the seafood. Also, the sake was served with some sort of wine glass instead of the usual sake glass. But maybe it's because of the bottle what I ordered. But I loved the ambience and staff were attentive. If I go back, I'll try the cooked menu items instead.

Food and service was good! The chirashi bowl was amazing - will try the beef bowl next. Also had the pork (main on its own) and I went to heaven on my first bite. The fat and meat ratio was perfect & it just melts in your mouth. Was tempted to order another plate but we were stuffed by then. Had the donut dessert and was surprised by how good it was! Definitely a good way to end the meal.

Decided to celebrate friend’s birthday here upon seeing the google review score but we had a disappointing experience. We ordered the scallop Ikura pie tee as it sounded interesting but was stun that the pie tee came in a miserable shallow height of around 1cm which we could not taste any scallop at all! The fact we could only taste Ikura for the 5 tiny pie tee costing $28++ it was a total ripped off. As for main we ordered 3 wagyu bowl & 1 chirashi bowl which were dry and lack of taste so we were very disappointed considering these are recommended items in the menu. Definitely had much better versions at other restaurants. There was a hiccup with 1 of the small plate order, we ordered the items in English but the staff repeated the order in Japanese so we did not spot that the chicken skin was wrongly heard by the staff as chicken wings. When we highlighted the error she reminded us that she did repeat the order for our confirmation.. well what else can we say we just accepted the wings. We decided to cut short the dinner and adjourn elsewhere for dessert after feeling less than satisfied with the food and service.
